__Solutions:__

**Ans.1(2)** 608, 618, 628, 638, 648, 658, 668,678, 680, 681, 682, 683, 684, 685, 686, 687,689, 698.

So, there are 18 such numbers.

**Ans.2(5)** Let number = x

**Ans.3(1)** Let smaller number = y

Greater no = x

According to question-

x × 14/100-y × 16/100 = 275 — I

x × -y× = 27

7x – 8y = 1350 — II

By solving I and II

x = 850, y = 575

Required Sum = 850+575 = 1425

**Ans.4(4)** Boys = 350 × 70/100 = 245

Girls = 350 × 30/100 = 105

Total fee = 105 × 550 + 245 ×(550×120/100 )

= 57750 + 245 × 660

= Rs. 219, 450

**Ans.5(5)** Let the third number = x

Then, Second number = 3x

First Number = 3X / 2

ATQ,

3X / 2+ 3x + x = 55 x 3

11X / 2 =165

x = 30

Numbers = 30, 90, 45

So, Second smallest Number = 45

**Ans.6(1)** A:B:C = 2:1:3

C = 1224 ×3/6 = 612

**Ans.7(3)**

required ratio=96x:96x:168x=4:4:7

**Ans.8(3)** Total number of students in School= L.C.M. (48,72,80,100)=3600

number of boys in school = 3600×2/3 = 2400

**Ans. 9(3)** Let the saving of Ramesh and varun be ‘3a’ and ‘2a’ respectively

similary, Expenditure of Ramesh and Varun be ‘3b’ and ‘4b’

We have to find, = 3a/3b = a/b

According to question-

**Ans.10(5)**

So, sum of their incomes = ( 15 + 9 ) × 1800 = 24 × 1800 = Rs. 43200
