Solutions:

Ans.8(5) (Sony : Tina : Shweta )
(120000 × 4 + 200000 × 8 ) : ( 70000 × 5 + 100000 × 7 ) : ( 400000 × 2 )
208 : 105 : 80
Now,
12.5% of 2515200 = = 314400
Therefore, profit of :
Sony = 208/393 × 314400 = Rs 166,400
Tina = 105/393 × 314400 = Rs 84000
Sum = Rs 250,400

Ans.9(3) Ratio of investments = P:Q:R
= 15000×12: [(4×12000)+(8×8000)] : [(4×1600)+(8×10000)]
= 180000: 112000: 144000
= 90: 56: 72
= 45: 28: 36
R’s share =36/109 × 48505
= 36×445 = ` 16020
Ans.10(1) Ratio of Investments of P:Q:R
= 14100×12:23500×9: 32900×6
P: Q:R = 12:15:14
Q, s share = 15/41×38130= 930×15 = Rs 13950
