Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection has released the notification for one of the most awaited exams. IBPS PO exam is conducted every year once to select the eligible candidates for the post of PO by the institute of banking personnel selection board for the various banks that participate in the public sector banks. Prelims exam is conducted online and is objective in nature. The exam consists of three sections:

Once the student has passed the prelims exam, the next level is the IBPS PO mains exam. This exam comprises of 4+1  sections. The one here is a descriptive paper.

Recently IBPS has made some changes by introducing the descriptive paper in the mains exam for selecting the candidates for the post of PO.

Apart from the prelims and the mains examination, IBPS has the third phase of the exam as well. An interview process is also conducted for the candidates who have successfully qualified both of the exams. The final merit list will be made depending on the marks obtained in the mains exam and the interview process. 

Once the entire process has been completed, the IBPS announces the results on their official portal and the selected students are called up for training and their joining letter is given accordingly. They need to report at their joining locations as per the given date and need to submit a few documents prior to their joining.
