SSC CGL 2019 eligibility criteria:
The first and foremost criterion for the SSC CGL 2019 is the compulsory educational qualifications. It is required that the student must possess a bachelor’s degree or graduation degree or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized university. The post wise educational qualification is given below. Students must check them thoroughly.

The important points for the educational qualifications and criteria are:
- Candidates who are in the final year of their education can also apply for this exam. But their essential qualification should be completed on or before 1st January 2020.
- CPT is the required compulsory educational qualification for the posts: Assistant Section Officer (CSS), Assistant Section Officer (MEA), Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under M/o Corporate Affairs, Assistant (GSI) in M/o Mines.
- Open and distance degrees are applicable only if the university is recognized by the distance education council IGNOU.
SSC CGL age limit
The age limit criteria for the SSC CGL exam is calculated as below as per the new changes made by the SSC board.

|For Post for which age limit is 18-27 years||He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2002|
|For Post for which age limit is 20-30 years||He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1990 and not later than 01.01.2000|
|For Post for which age limit is up to 30 years||He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1990 and not later than 01.01.2002|
|For Post for which age limit is up to 32 years||He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1988 and not later than 01.01.2002|
- The commission will only accept the date of birth as per the records in matriculation. For different posts, the SSC CGL age limit is different.
