Now, LIC has released the vacancies for the post of LIC AAO 2019 to fill up 590 for LIC AAO (Generalist/IT/Chartered Accountant/Actuarial/Rajbhasha).

Education Qualification: 

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a recognized university or institute.

AAO (Generalist) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University or Institution.
AAO (IT) Required Graduation degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics, or an MCA, or an MSC(Computer Science) from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
AAO (Chartered Accountant) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution

Candidate should have passed Final exam of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and completion of Articles as presented by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

The candidate should be Associate member of ICAI.

Candidates are required to provide their membership number and the same will be verified with ICAI.

AAO (Actuarial) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution

Candidates should have compulsorily passed paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

Total 6 or more papers as on the date of eligibility i.e. 1st Marc, 2019.

AAO (Rajbhasha) Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level or

Post Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level or

Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.

LIC Recruitment for AAO is conducted in three stages:
Preliminary Exam
Main Exam
Interview

Interview Process:

After a candidate clears the Mains Exam, they are called for Personal Interview where they are judged on the basis of their past experiences and their knowledge in the subject of matter.
