RBI Assistant 2019
One of the most awaited exams is RBI assistant. Every year Reserve Bank of India release the notification for the recruitment of RBI Assistants in the month of October and the examinations for the recruitment process were conducted in November and December. Although RBI did not release the notification for the recruitment of Assistants in 2018, but it is expected that this year RBI will release the notification which combined vacancies of 2018 & 2019.
The dates of RBI Assistant 2019 Prelims and Mains Examinations are expected to fall in November and December.

In 2017 total number of vacancies for the post of RBI Assistant notification was 623. Let hope that this year vacancies will be more because it will comprise of both year vacancies 2018 & 2019.

Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 28 years
But there is relaxation in maximum age limit according to their category. Refer the table below to know about relaxation:

Graduate from University/ Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India. Minimum of 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate. Knowledge of word processing on Personal Computer (PC).
Nationality: A candidate is required to be a citizen of India
A candidate is also required to be proficient in the official language of the concerned state or Union Territory for which he/she is applying for while filling out RBI Assistant 2019 Application Form.
Selection Procedure: RBI Assistant 2019 Exam will be conducted in two phases
Language Proficiency Test
It is mandatory for all the candidates to qualify these two rounds to ensure final selection to the post of Assistant in Reserve Bank of India.

The Prelims exam is an online objective test and consists of three papers:

Mains examination is online and consist five papers of objective type questions.

Language Proficiency Test: The final selection will be based on the performance in the main & language proficiency test. This test will be conducted in the local language of the concerned state. Candidates found inefficient in the local language would be disqualified.
