NIACL AO Recruitment 2019
The New India Assurance Company Limited or better known as NIACL has released the official notification. The notification declared recruitment for 312 Administrative Officers (Generalist & Specialist) Scale I. Working with NIACL is a matter of prestige and honour for any common man. With a great job that the title offers, also comes goodwill.
The registration for NIACL began on 10th December 2018 and 26th December 2018 was the last date for registration. The recruitment drive saw a huge number of applications from all over the country. Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years, as on 01.12.2018
a candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd Dec-1988 and not later than 1st Dec-1997 (both dates inclusive).
Relaxation in upper age limit shall be as follows:

|3.||Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as defined under “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”||10 years|

The ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service as 01.12.2018 and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues a certificate that they can apply for civil employment and that they will be released on three months’ notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment

Generalists: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a graduate/post graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination for General candidates and at least 55% marks forSC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Specialists: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification as follows. The qualification should be from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government.

A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either-
(a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
NIACL Recruitment for AO Scale-I is conducted in three stages:
An Interview Process will be condcuted for final selection of candidates to the post of Administrative Officer. The Ratio of Online Examination and Interview Process will be 80:20.

The Prelims exam is an online objective test and consists of three papers:

Mains examination is online and consist five papers of objective type questions.

The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 30 marks comprises a test of English Language (Letter Writing-10marks & Essay-20 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through online mode. Descriptive answer script would be evaluated only in respect of those candidates who qualify the objective test.
