Vacancies
The number of vacancies for the year 2018 was 685 for Assistants in NIACL. We can expect that the vacancies would be approx equal to previous year.

Eligibility
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level.

Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on date of application registration. Also, knowledge of Regional Language of the State for which a candidate applies is essential.

Age Limit:
Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 30 years

Category Age Limit
SC/ST 5 years
OBC 3 years
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities 10 years
Ex-Servicemen Actual period of service rendered in the Defence forces + 3 years, maximum upto the age of 45 years
Disabled Ex-Servicemen Relaxation upto the age of 45 years

NIACL Assistant Application Fee:
For General: Rs. 600/-
For SC/ST/PWD: Rs.100/-

Selection Procedure
NIACL Assistant exam is conducted in two phases:
Phase-I: NIACL Assistant Prelims
Phase-II: NIACL Assistant Mains

Regional Language Test
The knowledge of the regional language of the state for which the candidate is applying is essential in order to qualify for the recruitment

Exam Pattern Of Prelims:

The Prelims exam is an online objective test and consists of three papers:

English Language
Reasoning
Numerical Ability
