The online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations is tentatively scheduled in October / November 2019.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Syllabus:
IBPS PO Mains Exam encountered quite a number of changes last year. Let’s have a look at all these changes in detail.
Descriptive Paper: Just like SBI PO 2019 Exam, IBPS introduced Descriptive Paper in its Mains Examination where candidates will be judged on their written skills. An essay and a letter will be given to candidates to write that will constitute of 25 marks and that has to be completed in a time span of 30 minutes.

IBPS PO Cut Off 2019
Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online Main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND ALSO FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.
Candidates who qualify both preliminary and main examination will have to appear for the final Interview round. The interview round is conducted by the participating banks in the IBPS PO Recruitment.
Interview Cutoff: The interview round carries 100 marks. Candidates need to secure a minimum of 40 per cent, i.e., 40 marks in the Interview Round. This cut off is 35 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
Final Score: The final score of the candidates is calculated by adding marks secured in IBPS PO Mains & Interview round. The marks are calculated in the ratio of 80:20 respectively for Online Main Exam and interview.
