Ans(1-5): After analyzing the given input and various steps of rearrangement, it is found that in the first step,the highest number moves to the extreme left position while the word which comes last in the alphabetical order moves to the extreme right position. In the second step, the word which comes second last in the alphabetical order moves to the extreme left position while the second highest number moves to the extreme right position. These two steps are continued alternately till all the numbers and the words get  rearranged.

Input : Orange 36 59 yield 41 entertainment travel 12 learning 85.
Step-I : 85 Orange 36 59 41 entertainment travel 12 learning yield
Step-II : Travel 85 orange 36 41 entertainment 12 learning yield 59.
Step-III : 41 travel 85 36 entertainment 12 learning yield 59 orange.
Step-IV : Learning 41 travel 85 entertainment 12 yield 59 orange 36
Step-V : 12 learning 41 travel 85 yield 59 orange 36 entertainment
Step-V : is the last step of the above arrangement as the required arrangement is obtained.

The element ‘entertainment’ comes exactly between ‘85’ and ‘learning’ in the Step-III.
Ans.2(5) After interchanging the position of elements:
Step-I: 85 12 36 learning 41 entertainment travel orange 59 yield.
Now, the element to the immediate left of is 41.
